This site represents an entire server dedicated, most appropriately, to serving missionaries, churches, ministries, and magazines that have dedicated themselves to "carrying their cross" by following Jesus Christ.  We have this effort in common, not ecumenically, but rather by serving the same Lord.  Please take time to visit these ministries to learn about them, what they are doing for Christ, and how perhaps you can be a part of them or at least help them in their noble cause.

One other thing that should be mentioned here is that these ministries give a whole lot of time, effort, and, yes, money (material things) to those people both in need of these things and in need of Christ.  You could be a part of their effort in doing these things by sending them contributions, either large or small or in-between, ever so often.  There is no better way, in God's eyes, that you could spend such money (Matthew 25:40).  This is not called tithing, and though it could be referred to as offerings, it would be best looked at as gleaning, as spoken of in Scripture. This is a commandment of God and it is honored by Him greatly.  It costs these ministries to operate in the fields for the Lord and it costs Utmost Ministries to help them (both in time and money).  The word of God (Deuteronomy 24:21) says,"When thou gatherest the grapes of thy vineyard, thou shalt not glean it afterward: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow."  We are not to keep the first tenth of the fruit of our labor and likewise we are not to keep for ourselves the last portion, but to leave it for those who labor hard for the Lord and, therefore, have no field of their own.
